Ohmygosh! Was here this morning for my 2nd visit and was SO happy I went! They've made changes! My issue last time was lack of outlets, but I have a new spiffy computer that has a great battery life, so I decided to stop by. Very glad I did! They've renovated a bit - I wish I had taken a picture, but there are more tables, I think they painted, and I think the floors are new. They added outlets!!! A couple of them! This was really my only issue last time, so now this shop is definitely worth a 5 star review! I'll be back!

Cool place for some good quality coffee during the day. The place is nice, cozy and friendly. I would totally recommend this place to any coffee fan.

Great coffee shop, even better than my regular Starbucks near home! Very clean and smells great in the shop, also a pretty good place to work.

I was hoping there was something better than Starbuck's in town and was sorely disappointed. Arrived at 7:30 on a Saturday and the door was locked (bad sign). Ordered a quad espresso and was asked whether I wanted a single shot or a double (worse sign). Got a cup that had at least 8 oz. of dark liquid in it (even worse). Fortunately there's a trash can on the sidewalk just outside the door for drinks like that one.

Nice chill spot on the Main Street in Bel Air. One bonus star for the outstanding music! The coffee was good, I had an raisin bran muffin which was especially tasty. Minus one star for the lack of outlets for the laptops. Free, high-speed wireless. I'll be back.

Great atmosphere, wonderful coffee aroma, tidy displays, humorous sayings for decor, friendly but not bubbly staff - It's the kind of coffee place Bel Air needed. They have lots of coffees & teas, one huge pot of the soup of the day, and some pastries. I had a soy chai tea, which was good. This place breaks the rule that tea isn't good from coffee shops. If anything besides their drinks was vegan, I would have given them 5 stars - I was hoping to eat breakfast with my tea.

The BEST coffee, tea, and soup in Bel Air!!!!! They always have people inside however they take care of everyone quickly. Plenty of space to hang out while you enjoy your favorite pick me up. A great LOCAL business.

After a torridly hot camping weekend in Darlington, MD, my partner and I stopped by Bel Air in search of a good cup of java and something to eat. We were glad we found Shammrock. We entered the premises despite the turn-off political signs advocating Ehrlich for Governor, which seemed to us uncharacteristic for a coffee house. Still, we entered and found a nice, friendly, and homey coffee house. I would have gladly given it four stars but the menu is seriously limited. Despite coffee, which is a Brazilian blend of high quality and flavor, they only had a few pastries in the shelves and it seems like their business model is sort of coffee house purist. Which means that going over there for other than coffee is out of the question. Still, the owner nicely pointed us out to the deli down the block where we were able to get a decent lunch and still bought their Shammrock coffee. They do have soy for the lactose intolerant, although the lack of good frothing resembled more a latte than a cappuccino. Overall a nice place for the passerby to get a decent cup of java.

Take a stroll down main Great Starbucks alternative It closes early A decent coffee shop in the middle of a revived main strip in town. The fairly low prices are great, and the fact that they pour their own shots instead of having an automatic machine are both a bonus and a reason to check it out. It was kind of awkward, but I asked the server for a 'Black Eye,' a shot and a coffee. The shot was perfect, not too bitter, and the coffee, despite being in a caraffe 20 minutes before closing, was fresh as well. Points deducted for narrow hours on weekends

In Bel Air, looking for a legit latte? Try Shamrock! I'm admittedly a coffee snob. I love espresso way more than brewed coffee, I was so excited when I found Shamrock. Their espresso is really good! They have flavorful, strong, bold, sweet lattes. Even though I prefer espresso drinks, I do love their brewed coffee as well and that means a lot. They have great staple brews and often feature special flavors. The Black Raven is my favorite! The best part, their refills are only $1.00! They also have fresh bagels and cookies daily. I'm not totally familiar with their hours but they should usually be open anytime before 4pm.
